V Pulley

Mount these pulleys with a taper-lock bushing for a tight, wobble-free hold on your shaft. These pulleys transfer force from the shaft to a V-belt in a power transmission system and help misalign. Made of cast iron, these pulleys are durable and resist wear. Depending on your taper-lock bushing, the same pulley can be used with different shaft diameters.

These pulleys are typically cast iron and black phosphate and come with multiple diameters and groove combinations. Taper and pilot bore options are also available. To determine the correct part for your application, refer to the part number. The part number will contain the belt cross-section's three-letter designation, the pulley pitch's three-digit diameter, and the number of grooves or belts that need to be driven.

This pulley type has different boreholes and is available in metric and imperial dimensions. It also comes with appropriate socket head screws for installation. The main benefit of a Taper Lock Bushing is that it is easy to install and does not require any shaft modifications. It is available from stock and is suitable for various V-belt pulley types.
